family

At Reeder & Brown, P.C., we know the complexities and emotional strain that come with legal issues within the family. Divorce, child support, parenting time and the division of assets and debts can, unfortunately, bring out the worst in people. As your attorneys, we will strive to bring a sense of calmness and purpose to your family legal issue while working toward an acceptable compromise that has all sides invested. If, however, that is unsuccessful, we are fully prepared to take your case to court. Our extensive criminal court experience provides us with courtroom tools many other attorneys do not have.

From the beginning to the end of your case, we will make sure you understand the best approach that will help you accomplish your goals. We will take the time to ensure that you are informed about the laws that apply to your situation, and we will advocate on your behalf when negotiating agreements with the other side or arguing matters in the courtroom.

The divorce process can be difficult, and in addition to the strong emotions that come with the end of a long-term relationship, it may involve a variety of legal complications and financial concerns. We will work to make this process as easy as possible for you, ensuring that all legal issues are handled properly so that you can focus on moving forward after your marriage has been legally dissolved.

We have the experience to ensure that the rights & well-being of your children are protected.

Family law cases involving child custody can be especially difficult for everyone involved, and the breakdown of the relationship between parents may result in significant conflict and disagreements about what is best for children. We can help you focus on finding solutions that will provide for your children's best interests.

As you work to address child-related issues, we will help you put a parenting plan in place that will meet your family's needs, while also addressing issues related to child support, parental relocation, post-divorce modifications, and more.
